Literary Evolution through the Seventeenth Aeon A Guide to the Works of
the Golden Circle Broonfond

comprehensive account by a respected author whose sad death a mere century ago
left us at the mercy of semi-literates of negligible scholarship and less style.
Casfagcas
Potions and Charms Suitable for the Particularly Jaded: The classic
20th Aeon work by a well respected eroticist known for his knowledge of love potions
and charms. [Good, some staining.] Casrail
Alandrine A Guide to the Writings and Artists of Past Aeons: This
work from the leading literary critic of the early 21st Aeon contains the earliest
record of his memorable dictum that an artist should "shun nothing, hold back
nothing and ultimately conceal nothing". Caudlegrane
the Younger Caudlegrane's Admonitory Yarns: As the author of perhaps
the most popular children's book of the 19th Aeon, the Admonitory Yarns is
the perfect solstice present for your own children. It is a moral tale designed
to divert the youth of any era from both debt and debauchery. Caudlegrane the
Younger then seems to have created the Twikedome story as a purified version of
his uncle's work. Caudlegrane
the Elder Twikedome's
Progress: From the pen of "Flog 'em" Caudlegrane (known in his day as 'the
panderer's panderer'), this story combines the tale of a seventeenth Aeon debaucher
named Twikedom with various elements from earlier legends. Nephew or great-nephew
of Purge, Purge, Purge Caudlegrane, Flog'em's writings are considered by many
to mark the defining point between two major literary eras, where a fashion for
whimsical and moral tales was replaced by a taste for horror of a particularly
demented nature. Coldark
the Mesamath The Great Tumble. Defining Event of the 8th Aeon?:
A comparatively recent work from a savant and historian who discussed the Great
Tumble wherein the moon was destroyed. Dafis
A Primer in Energy Flux and Matrix Studies: A basic handbook from a member
of the Institute, currently a respected lecturer on the subject of energy flux
and matrix studies at the Scholasticarium. Digelos

pupil of Carthos of Sfere who postulates that deodand were the original species;
humanity, hoons and erbs being nothing more than offshoots from the deodand stock.
Dilistor
the Bland A Geography of the 15th Aeon. [Some pages partially obscured
by food stains, endpapers inscribed with various recipes.] Dorstell
the Solatious Notes on the Isles of Cloud Flow of the Isipikkila
Two books from a respected 19th Aeon author. Flow of the Isipikkila (the
river we now know as the Isk) containing some interesting observations on cave
dwelling grue/pelgrane hybrids and a number of somewhat disturbing drawings. Dosinan
Sleights of Magic: The classic early 21st aeon tome which is sometimes
known as "The Tricksters Bible". Dresno
Causality, Reality, Banality and Me: A subtle work from a philosopher residing
in the Scaum valley, in which he puts forward the Theory of Reciprocal Inevitability.
This states that fictitious events actually and inevitably happen, in inverse
quantity to their likelihood, so, given a long enough span of time - say 22 Aeons
- everything has happened, except the sun going out ... which, by this analysis,
is a supremely unlikely event. Droon
& Loonwallow Travels in the West: This work is over five thousand
years old and whilst hardly current has stood the test of time. Cycolopaedia
Demonica: This standard work needs no introduction. Durgal
Corwaine Ethics Girls: His works are highly regarded despites his
being widely considered an eccentric and peculiar pessimist. Corwaine believes
that so long as his expectations are dashed, the sun will stay alive; he currently
lectures on Comparative Philosophy, Personal Ethical Development and Applied Altruism
at the Scholasticarium. Ertenaoquil
Fan Languages of the 20th Aeon Charms and Potions of the Iumunder
Principate: Both classic works from an early 21st Aeon eroticist. Fianaer
A study in comparative property law in Kaiin and Azenomei with special regard
to inheritance and lighting rights: The definitive work from a savant from
Azenomei who later became a legalist with that fine old firm of Thrumpgel and
Woe. Fianber
Thaumaturgical Dictionary: The conclusive 20th Aeon work. Follinense
the lesser Hybrids of the Oparona Plain and Blanwalt Forest: A
large book bound in red hide of a distinctive texture. This is a bestiary, written
in Erze Damath some centuries ago. It records the hybrids of the Oparona Plain
and Blanwalt Forest, originally created by the wizard Follinense (also known as
Follinense Magus) for the edification of some local ruler. Grashpotel
Travels in the 17th Aeon Culinary Preparation of Sundry Species The
Wines of the Scaum Valley In three volumes. [All slightly foxed and the second
possessing a rather peculiar odour.] Groswin
Perambulations in Three Modes: Considered by some a rather pompous work,
wordy and lacking real insight, this is perhaps a fine example of the early 21st
Aeon style. Groswin was captured by pirates working from the Misty Islands and
sold to the nomads who haunt the hinterland of Cansaspara in return for a quantity
of leather cordage and dried meat. He later purchased his freedom and returned
to Kaiin in extreme old age.
Hasuke Law of Literal Action: From the pen of a 20th Aeon mage
this work describes the modus operandi of elementals, madlings and Sandestin.

Malithas Kaiin and its Hinterlands: This is a very early 21st
Aeon account of the area, regarded as accurate but scandalous at the time of writing.
