Hello. I am Larther, studying at the Scholasticarium and using as much quaint technology as I can I wanted to produce a Website to show you how me and my friends here live.
This
building is now our Residence with our Washing Facilities being the fountain
shown at left. Members of the symposium have their own individual bathing
facilities. Members of the Institute use the luxurious bath house provided
by the facility. Students must bath in the Quad here once a week, and get
a receipt from the Superintendent of Cleanliness before they leave. If stopped
by the Maugifiers without such a ticket less than a week old they will be
taken and forcibly bathed! Maintenance has not been one of the administrations
priorities and the building has deteriated since this picture was taken. My
room is the one with the arrow pointing to the window!
Much of the social life takes place in the squares in front of the blocks where people meet to chat and discuss assignments. The rest of the social life takes place is various ale houses, drinking dens and by sundry food stalls. For myself I prefer Fessmunds' clam stall as very few people fall ill after eating his clams. When wanting a more substantial meal, Solkuth does excellent pasties at his stall, and also sells a reasonable glass of ale to wash them down with. For good ale and good company you want the Spined Tome, where the evening goes with a swing. Stay away from Ripenganno and his cellar wine shop. If you want over-priced farlock's water, apply direct to the farlock, that's my philosophy.
